Professionals

To Our Professionals

We praise you every day for your skill, dedication, professionalism, compassion, and for the perseverance that is required to sustain work in Healthcare today!  In an ever-changing industry that is often stressful yet rewarding at the same time, we recognize that there are often sacrifices made by you, that many times go unnoticed.

Our commitment to you is to always treat you with respect, to strive to always search and secure new and ongoing opportunities for you, and to remind ourselves that you have many choices when it comes to who you choose to represent you.

We are committed to providing excellence in the temp and travel industry, and desire to “raise the bar” in our marketplace.  We vow to always look for ways to improve our services for you, efficiently manage our day-to-day operations, and to always be courteous and treat you  respectfully.

Our Expectations

AMS expects a high level of integrity, honesty, trust and compassion from all professionals we employ and place. When we place you within our client's doors, you are immediately evaluated by their managment and supervisory teams to determine if you are a good fit and a match for their facility for the specific skill they requested.  You should consider yourself as "under the microscope" when you are serving the temporary needs of a client. They have very high expectations of you when you have been presented to meet their crisis needs. They will expect you to be able to jump in and assist, and to be a seasoned and professional caregiver they can depend on to provide safe and efficient care to their patients.

You should always refrain from the following while on duty with a client:
  • Gossiping with staff while on duty
  • Excessive talking with staff about personal issues
  • Taking unnecessary breaks
  • Use of cell phone or texting while on duty
  • Leaving the facility campus without prior permission
  • Eating or drinking at the nurse's station or at your designated work area
  • Using another staff member's code to access drugs, computer charting, etc...
  • Use of profanity in the workplace
  • Being lazy and not keeping up with the pace
  • Use of the internet for personal computer while on duty
  • Discussions about your pay rates or salaries of others
  • Using the clients phone for personal use
  • Smoking in prohibited areas
  • Wearing artificial nails
  • Wearing low-cut pants or short tops that expose your mid-drift
  • Wearing excessive perfume or cologne while on duty
  • Wearing excessive jewelry while on duty
  • Bringing attention to yourself by exposing any part of your body to a co-worker, patient or family member while on duty.
  • Avoid clocking in to an electronic system when you are late
  • Falsifying or omitting documentation in a patient's record
  • Divulging confidential, private patient information outside of what is necessary for patient care
  • Divulging confidential client information to anyone

AMS considers it a privilidge to serve you and provide excellent opportunities to you within our client's facilities. Our clients trust that we will continue to meet the high standards we promise, therefore it is imperative that we must always evaluate your professional practices, skill level and your professional behavior to ensure we are meeting our client's expecations as well as providing safe care.

If you should meet any resistance while on duty that you are uncomfortable with or have any concerns that you feel should be discussed, we encourage you to report them to us. You may click on submit a Suggestion or Concern that is provided within this AMS Professional area of the site and submit this directly to us.  We will get back with you about your request.
